“In light of the approaching holiday rush it’s only appropriate to get to know the sparkling wine ins and outs better.
So for this we decided to ask wine blogger (author of the wine-and-spirits.md blog) Angelina Taran to help us sort through the winemakers and varietals to find the best one.
Angelina gathered an entire 22 exemplars of local sparkling wines. For a clean experiment the tasting was blind, wherein all bottles were covered in paper sacks. The experiment was guided by specialist, known scientist and doctor of sciences Prof. Nikolai Georghevich Taran together with consulting sommelier Mihai Druta. The analysis was very detailed and although it wasn’t short, it was extremely clear.”
