Vino e Pecorino

 tasting of Italian cheeses and moldovan wines

On Friday, Feb. 2, at 19.00 Invino is waiting for you! Don't miss out on meeting an extremely interesting individual and getting to know the fruits his business bears! The company Salasul Baciului will be our guest of honor.

Family couple Dorina Baciu and Valeriu Motoroi live in the Sadaclia village. After living in Italy for many years they came back to Moldova and opened their own production of hard cheeses made with Italian methods out of local products.

Throughout the evening you will try:

  • Caciotta cheese made from cow's milk
  • 3 samples of Pecorino made from sheep's milk - from extremely young to well matured
  • Mature Pecorino, aged in wine.

5 different pairings of cheese and wine will be presented to you by Invino's chief sommelier Druta Mihai and cheesemaker Dorina Baciu.
