Muscat wines
Muscat wines are generally dessert wines made from Muscat varieties of white, pink and black grapes. They usually reach about 13-16% alcohol and 20-30% sugar consistency.
One of the toughest tasks of a Muscat winemaker is to preserve the original aromatic properties of the grape, by combining ripe Muscat grape varietals with withered or over-ripened vines.
The palette of Muscat wines is extremely diverse; depending on the grape variety, the wine’s color can vary from sun-golden to the color of tea, from light pink to dark cherry red, almost black.
