The main markers of the “best” wines

The main markers of the “best” wines:
• Region of production
• Manufacturer
• Year of harvest

There is also a wine criteria of quality, which factors into categorizing wines, called rating. Wines are given a rating by wine critics, specialized journals, wine competitions and others, such as professionals and wine-lovers.
The most common rating scale is the 100-point scale. There are also 20-point, 10-point, 5- and 3- point scales.
